The LP Pleasure and Pain was released in 1992 by Ben Harper and Tom Freund. It was recorded at the Cardas studio in California. Big success followed: Ben Harper was signed to Virgin Records. Soon after this Ben toured with Taj Mahal as a backing guitarist. Only 1500 copies of the album were pressed, now it is considered to be a collector’s item.’
