I wrote this tune for Ermanno, a good friend of mine and a great Weissenborn guitar builder. He builds the most inexpensive, but best sounding lap steel guitars available.

Ulica Mariacka
Ulica Mariacka is a very nice Street in Gdansk, Poland. Years ago I spent a few days there. Great town, although weather was bad. Some sun, and some more rain. You hear both in the song,  with a little bit of imagination …
This Song is dedicated to my old polnish friend, Zbigeniev Szkudlarski.

Hermann Guitars

I own a few Weissenborn guitars: An original H. Weissenborn, another one built by the Australian luthier Glenn Wilson, and one Superior (made in Mexico). But, as soon as it comes to recording - none sounds as good as my Hermann Guitars Weissenborn Style 1. Very amazing: It was the cheapest of all! Ermanno’s hand built Weissenborns start at €620.

Nice price
All of his guitars sound awfully good, look pretty, and best of all - are quite  inexpensive. His acoustic Weissenborns start at an incredible €620! - ever had a hand built guitar for that price?
